A well-respected client in the area is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist/HRIS to join their on-site team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys working in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accurate and timely payroll for the company
Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns
Manage sales tax filings and ensure compliance across jurisdictions
Maintain and update employee payroll records
Coordinate with accounting and tax teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications:
Prior experience in payroll processing
Working knowledge of payroll and accounting systems
Experience with UKG a plus, but not required
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
