What They’re Looking For
1+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience
Strong background in litigation, including depositions, mediations, and hearings
Proven ability to develop case strategies, negotiate settlements, and manage high-volume caseloads
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to work directly with clients, adjusters, and employers to provide effective representation
Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
What You’ll Do
Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation defense litigation from inception through resolution
Represent employers, carriers, and third-party administrators in depositions, mediations, and final hearings
Develop litigation strategies tailored to client objectives and cost management
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs before the Judge of Compensation Claims
Provide proactive communication and guidance to clients and claims professionals
Collaborate with experienced colleagues in a team-focused environment
