Associate Attorney – General Liability/Professional Liability  (Los Angeles)

A mid-sized law firm—consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work for over a decade—is seeking a litigation associate with a minimum of three years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. While a background in defending general and/or professional liability matters is preferred, it is not required. This hybrid position (with two remote workdays per week) offers strong mentorship, top-tier fully paid benefits, and a clear path for professional growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general liability and/or professional liability cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions; attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel
• Maintain an 1850 billable hour target

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school; CA Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Excellent legal writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable handling depositions, court appearances, and mediations
• Trial experience a plus
