Senior Employment Litigation Attorney

GPAC is partnered with a respected litigation firm seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. Active California Bar licensure is required for this position.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior-level attorney looking for sophisticated litigation work, substantial autonomy, and long-term growth within a collaborative environment. The firm handles a wide range of employment litigation matters, including complex wage & hour disputes, and is seeking someone capable of independently managing cases while contributing strategically to ongoing matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Handle wage & hour and other complex employment-related disputes
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
  • Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Advise clients regarding litigation strategy and case developments
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff on active matters

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of employment litigation experience
  • Active California Bar license required and in good standing
  • Strong wage & hour litigation experience preferred
  • Ability to independently manage litigation matters and client relationships
  • Strong writing, deposition, and case strategy skills
  • Defense-side experience preferred, though qualified plaintiff-side attorneys are encouraged to apply
