This opportunity is ideal for a mid- to senior-level litigator looking to independently manage complex commercial and civil litigation matters, take on significant client interaction, and mentor junior attorneys in a collaborative environment.

Position: Litigation Associate Attorney – Civil & Commercial

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Position Type: Full-Time | On-site
Seniority Level: 6–10 Years of Experience
Target Practice Area: Civil & Commercial Litigation

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage litigation matters from intake through trial or settlement
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and court filings
• Oversee discovery, e-discovery, and document production
• Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and experts for testimony
• Represent clients in court for hearings, conferences, and trial proceedings
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategy
• Mentor junior associates and litigation support team
• Ensure compliance with timelines, budgets, and reporting

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania; federal court experience preferred
• 6–10+ years of litigation experience, including trial prep and case management
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases with competing deadlines
