Maintenance Planner – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

A well-established and rapidly growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations, improve equipment uptime, and help drive overall plant efficiency. This organization recently completed a major facility expansion and continues to invest heavily in its people, processes, and long-term growth.
This is a key role responsible for maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory coordination, and CMMS system ownership within a fast-paced production environment.
2-2-3 rotating schedule
Work only half the days of the year
Excellent work/life balance with extended time off built into the schedule
Plan and prioritize maintenance work orders to maximize technician productivity and equipment reliability
Coordinate maintenance schedules with production and operations teams
Manage maintenance inventory and improve parts readiness
Maintain accurate data and reporting within the CMMS system
Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives
Support continuous improvement efforts focused on uptime, efficiency, and cost reduction
Help ensure maintenance procedures and documentation remain organized and effective
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
OR 3+ years working with industrial equipment such as boilers, chillers, or HVAC systems
Strong mechanical troubleshooting background in a production setting
Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing:
Gearboxes
Bearings
Chains & sprockets
Belts
Clutches
Brakes
Seals & gaskets
Experience with CMMS systems preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
