PRODUCTIO SUPERVISOR WITH FLEXOGRAPHIC BACKGROUND

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for optimizing workflows. This role requires effective leadership skills to guide a team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on UV printing, digital, and flexographic press machines, ensuring that production meets quality standards, efficiency goals, and scheduled timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish goals and monitor progress towards achieving them.
  • Oversee the training and development of staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills for their roles.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials are available for production without excess waste.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to align operational objectives with overall business goals.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhanced performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: in a manufacturing or packaging environment, with specific expertise in operating and maintaining UV printing, digital, and flexographic press machines.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, and Label Traxx.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, including staff scheduling and workload balancing.
  • Skilled in machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for UV, digital, and press equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Label Traxx software is highly desirable.
