We are looking to identify a Labor & Employment Attorney with an existing book of business to join our well-known client’s growing practice in San Francisco.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking for a strong platform to support and expand an existing client base, while also collaborating with a firm that handles a mix of employment advisory and litigation matters.


Position: Labor & Employment Attorney (Lateral)

About the Role

This role is designed for an experienced attorney who brings portable business and is seeking a firm that offers flexibility, resources, and a collaborative environment to support continued growth.

The practice includes a balance of day-to-day employment counseling and litigation, allowing attorneys to maintain a diverse and sustainable client portfolio.


Practice Focus

  • Employment counseling and general advisement
  • Wage & hour and compliance matters
  • Employment agreements, policies, and risk management
  • Employment litigation (single plaintiff and complex matters)
  • Workplace investigations and dispute resolution

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing book of business
  • Provide strategic employment law counsel to clients
  • Handle employment-related litigation matters as needed
  • Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and related documents
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on practice growth and expansion

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of labor & employment experience
  • Experience with both advisory and litigation matters
  • Portable book of business required
  • Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • California Bar admission required
