Paralegal/Legal Assistant – Medical Malpractice
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (In-Office Position)
A respected mid-sized law firm in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our growing medical malpractice team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional with a minimum of three years of experience in medical malpractice litigation.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive paralegal and legal assistant support to attorneys specializing in medical malpractice cases.
Draft and prepare legal documents, discovery, and correspondence.
Manage medical records, expert files, and trial preparation materials.
Assist with case management from inception through trial.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years’ experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in medical malpractice litigation.
Strong knowledge and experience of litigation procedures, discovery, and trial preparation in medical malpractice cases.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
