About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Preconstruction Coordinator to join our team in Montana. This role is central to ensuring successful project outcomes by leading the preconstruction process from budgeting through client presentations. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating skills, the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and the confidence to communicate complex details clearly to clients and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed estimates across all stages of project development.

  • Lead and coordinate the preconstruction team, which may include a Project Manager, Project Engineer, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Review early-stage documents to identify missing details, develop scopes of work, and assess constructability to ensure cost-effective solutions.

  • Drive value engineering efforts, providing creative solutions and accurate pricing.

  • Assemble and present budgets and project details in a professional, client-facing manner.

  • Support the design team and clients by providing clear recommendations and cost insights that guide decision-making.

  • Utilize Sage Estimating (experience preferred but not required; training available).

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in preconstruction, estimating, or a similar role within the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information confidently and clearly.

  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on constructability.

  • Experience with Sage Estimating is a plus (not required).

Location & Relocation This opportunity is based in Montana, with all projects located within the state. Candidates currently residing in Montana are highly encouraged to apply.
