We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations at our cabinetry fabrication facility. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and workforce management, while driving continuous improvement in workflow, safety, and output.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, preferably within the cabinetry or wood products industry, and will be proficient in industry-standard design-to-manufacturing software such as Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or Mozaik.
Oversee and manage daily production operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and production standards.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and installation teams to meet customer deadlines and specifications.
Analyze and optimize workflows, production processes, and layout to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Supervise and support plant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Maintain production and inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate forecasting and resource planning.
Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets, production goals, and strategic plans.
Implement and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance and suggest areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with maintenance to minimize downtime.
Drive the adoption and effective use of Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Mozaik, or equivalent CAD/CAM software to streamline design-to-fabrication workflows.
5+ years of experience in operations or production management, preferably in a cabinetry, woodworking, or millwork manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with at least one cabinetry manufacturing software platform: Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or Mozaik.
Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, CNC machinery, and production scheduling.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD platforms.
Working knowledge of OSHA and other manufacturing safety standards.
