A well-established law firm is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate Attorney to join its Corporate/Transactional Department in St. Louis. This role will focus primarily on commercial banking and finance matters and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Represent financial institutions and corporate clients in a variety of commercial lending and finance transactions
Draft and negotiate loan agreements, credit agreements, security documents, and related transactional materials
Assist with structuring and documenting commercial finance and lending arrangements
Conduct due diligence and review transactional documentation
Work collaboratively with attorneys across the corporate and transactional practice groups
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in banking, finance, or corporate transactional law
Licensed in Missouri required and Illinois licensure preferred
Experience handling commercial lending or finance transactions
Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
