Job Title: Bilingual Civil Litigation Legal Assistant (English/Spanish)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bilingual Civil Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of experience to support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
This position is based in El Segundo with a hybrid work schedule requiring a minimum of one in-office day per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- File documents in state and federal courts (including e-filing)
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court dates to ensure compliance
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors in both English and Spanish
- Assist with discovery processes, including organizing, reviewing, and summarizing documents
- Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
- Translate legal documents and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients as needed
- Conduct basic legal research as directed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant in civil litigation
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
- Strong knowledge of court procedures, rules, and e-filing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven legal setting

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay range: $32–$37 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
