Senior Project Manager / Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Estimator with a strong background in large-scale site development and civil construction. The ideal candidate will have experience both estimating and managing projects involving excavation, earthwork, grading, utilities, and related civil scopes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and bids for large-scale civil/site development projects
- Manage projects from award through completion
- Oversee excavation, earthwork, grading, utilities, and other site development scopes
- Review plans, specifications, quantities, schedules, and project requirements
- Develop budgets, schedules, change orders, and cost projections
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
- Track project costs, progress, materials, and overall profitability
- Identify potential project risks and cost impacts
- Assist with business development and estimating efforts as needed
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in civil/site development construction
- Strong estimating and project management experience
- Experience with large-scale site development projects
- Strong background in excavation, earthwork, grading, underground utilities, and related civil work
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents
- Strong understanding of construction costs, scheduling, and project management
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
