Associate Attorney – Commercial Litigation & Transactional

A nationally recognized business law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with approximately 2–5 years of experience in commercial litigation and transactional work.

We are looking for an attorney who has developed a strong foundation representing businesses and is comfortable working across both disputes and business transactions.

The firm's practice is national in scope and represents established companies, entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, and other business clients in sophisticated legal matters.

The Role

This position will involve a combination of commercial litigation and transactional work, including matters such as:

• Commercial and business disputes
• Contract litigation
• Shareholder, member, and partnership disputes
• Arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
• Pre-litigation strategy and negotiations
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
• Corporate and business transactions
• Business formation and governance matters
• Mergers, acquisitions, and related transactions
• General business counseling

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 2–5 years of attorney experience (Greater Experience Encouraged To Apply)
• Commercial litigation experience
• Transactional and/or corporate experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and case management
• Experience drafting and negotiating business agreements
• Ability to manage assignments and deadlines independently
• Strong interest in working directly with business clients
• Active and in-good-standing state bar admission

We are looking for someone who wants meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to continue developing a broad-based business law practice.

Compensation & Work Environment

• $130,000–$160,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Bonus opportunities
• Attorneys generally average approximately 1,600 – 1,700 billable hours
• Flexible approach to PTO
• Remote, hybrid, and in-office options
