The practice is focused on serious injury matters and offers attorneys the opportunity to work on substantial cases with direct involvement in litigation strategy, client advocacy, and trial preparation.

This position is well-suited for an attorney who enjoys being in the courtroom, taking ownership of files, and working closely with experienced litigators on complex injury cases.

The Opportunity

The incoming attorney will work on a variety of personal injury matters, including automobile collisions, trucking accidents, wrongful death claims, and other high-exposure negligence cases. The role offers meaningful responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and consistent involvement in active casework.

Attorneys are supported by an experienced and fully staffed team, allowing them to focus their time on litigation strategy, client advocacy, depositions, and case development rather than administrative burdens.

  • Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Attend court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings
  • Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Evaluate liability, damages, and litigation strategy

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of litigation experience
  • Illinois Bar license in good standing
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to independently manage active litigation files
  • Experience with plaintiff personal injury matters preferred

Ideal Experience

  • Trucking and commercial vehicle litigation
  • Catastrophic injury matters
  • Jury trials or extensive trial preparation
  • High-value personal injury litigation

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
