Director of Operations | Food Manufacturing | NYC Market | Up to $150K | Bilingual in Spanish 

We are working with a well-established food manufacturing company seeking a Director of Operations to take full ownership of plant operations and lead a diverse, high-performing team.

This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the President — built for a hands-on operator who thrives on the floor and knows how to lead people, processes, and performance.

MUST-HAVE (HIGHLY IMPORTANT):

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish (conversational is acceptable)

This role requires daily interaction with a Spanish-speaking workforce, so the ability to:

  • Give direction
  • Coach employees
  • Build trust on the floor

This is a major advantage and strongly preferred by leadership

What You’ll Lead:

  • Full plant operations: production, warehouse, logistics, maintenance
  • Food safety programs (SQF / HACCP)
  • Workforce leadership across multiple departments
  • KPI performance (production, inventory, shipping)
  • Process improvements, efficiency, and automation initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7–10+ years operations leadership in food manufacturing
  • Experience across production, warehouse, and logistics
  • Strong knowledge of SQF / HACCP environments
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Spanish communication ability (HIGHLY preferred)
  • Hands-on, floor-driven leadership style
