We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and PLC‑controlled equipment. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, ensuring safety, and supporting preventive maintenance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems (110V, 220V, 440V, and low‑voltage controls)
- Troubleshoot PLC‑controlled equipment, motors, drives, and control systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime
- Install wiring, conduit, control panels, relays, timers, and sensors
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Support equipment changeovers, startups, and ongoing production needs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe maintenance areas
- Follow all safety, food safety, GMP, and company policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or PLC Technician
- Strong PLC troubleshooting experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
- Solid mechanical aptitude with packaging or processing equipment
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Industrial refrigeration, welding, or fabrication experience a plus
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working on your feet, in tight or awkward spaces
- Ability to work around moving machinery, noise, and food ingredients
