Job Description

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation. In this role, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient production. This position works hands-on with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (110V, 220V, 440V) and low-voltage controls
• Support PM programs to reduce downtime
• Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups
• Read and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Maintain accurate maintenance and work order documentation
• Follow GMP, safety, and food safety standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a PLC or industrial maintenance role
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment
• Ability to work weekends, off-shifts, and holidays as needed
• Comfortable working in food manufacturing environments (yeast/flour exposure)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in tight spaces
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally
