A confidential, established mechanical contractor is hiring an HVAC CAD/BIM Modeler / Coordinator to support design, coordination, and fabrication modeling for commercial HVAC systems.

There are several opportunities to learn and grow within the organization while working with teams that are determined to succeed.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain 2D drawings + 3D BIM models (ductwork, piping, equipment)
  • Develop fabrication-ready models and shop drawings
  • Coordinate with PMs, foremen, and engineers to reflect real-world conditions
  • Participate in BIM coordination/clash detection meetings
  • Update models based on RFIs, change orders, and design updates
  • Support prefab, estimating, and layout workflows

✅ What You Bring

  • 2+ years of HVAC drafting or BIM modeling experience
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems (duct layout, equipment, coordination)
  • Experience with AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit MEP
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specs
  • Detail-oriented with strong coordination skills

⭐ Preferred

  • Fabrication CADmep, Navisworks, BIM 360 experience
  • SMACNA standards knowledge
  • Field or coordination experience with HVAC systems
  • Prefab or point cloud/laser scan exposure
