A well-established and growth-oriented law firm is seeking a Corporate M&A Partner to join its expanding transactional practice. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced attorney with a strong background in mergers & acquisitions and a portable book of business of approximately $500K+ who is looking for a platform to further grow and scale their practice.

About the Role: This position focuses on sophisticated corporate and M&A transactions, representing middle-market and emerging growth clients across a variety of industries. The firm offers a collaborative environment, cross-selling opportunities, and the infrastructure needed to support and expand an established practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mergers, acquisitions, and other complex corporate transactions
  • Advise clients on structuring, negotiation, and execution of deals
  • Maintain and grow an existing book of business while developing new client relationships
  • Collaborate with other practice groups to provide full-service client solutions
  • Mentor and work alongside associates and junior attorneys

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of corporate transactional experience, with a strong emphasis on M&A
  • Portable book of business of approximately $500K+ (flexible depending on fit)
  • Proven ability to originate, manage, and close deals independently
  • Strong client relationship and business development skills
  • Licensed and in good standing in [State] (or ability to become licensed)
