Attorney – Litigation
Location: Des Moines, IA
A respected firm in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong litigation experience who is looking to advance their career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle litigation matters from case inception through trial and resolution
• Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on case strategy and client advocacy
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission to the Iowa Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills
• Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively in a team setting
• Excellent client-relations and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive base salary of $80,000 – $125,000, commensurate with experience
