This role is perfect for a litigator who wants to be in the courtroom and who understands the value of billable hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of employment law matters, from initial case strategy to trial.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies.
  • Provide sound legal counsel to clients on various employment-related issues.
  • Maintain a minimum of 1700 billable hours annually. Your base salary will increase as you exceed this target, directly linking your compensation to your productivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active member of the Washington State Bar.
  • At least 3+ years of experience practicing employment law.
  • Proven first or second chair courtroom experience.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to manage a demanding caseload.

Compensation:

This firm offers a compelling performance-based compensation model. Your base salary is tied directly to your billable hours. The more you bill, the higher your base salary will be, providing a clear path for earning potential.
