- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory at the executive level, including M&A transactions, restructurings, and high-net-worth planning
- Direct and inspire a multi-tiered tax team — setting vision, standards, and culture across managers, supervisors, seniors, and associates
- Drive practice growth through business development: originating new clients, leading pitches, and cultivating referral networks across Los Angeles
- Collaborate with firm leadership and partners on strategic planning, service line expansion, and market positioning
- Oversee quality control and risk management across all client engagements within the practice
- Lead complex IRS and state tax controversies, high-stakes audits, and sensitive client matters requiring senior judgment

- Active CPA license required
- Recognized technical expertise across complex tax areas including partnerships, corporate tax, M&A, and/or high-net-worth planning
- Proven book of business with demonstrated ability to originate, retain, and grow client relationships
- Executive-level leadership presence — able to inspire teams, influence firm strategy, and engage at the C-suite level
- Track record of building and scaling high-performing tax teams
- Deep familiarity with California and multi-state tax landscapes
- Strong command of tax technology platforms and a forward-looking approach to innovation in tax delivery
