DENTAL ASSISTANT

NUTLEY, NEW JERSEY 

Growing and established dental office in Nutley, NJ is seeking a talented, full-time, Dental Assistant to join their specialty practice.

If you are resourceful, dependable, and passionate about helping others, we would love to have you join our specialty practice! As a Dental Assistant, you will be a central member of our team, helping provide exceptional patient experience while supporting the clinical team.

Background Requirements: 

• 2+ years of oral surgery experience
• High School Diploma
• Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program
• Active state radiology license

Responsibilities Include: 

• Preparation and set up of instruments and supplies for treatment 
• Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Strong attention to detail, well organized, and reliable
• Scheduling appointments and post op visits
• Assisting with payment procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records
