Assistant Preconstruction Manager – Commercial Construction

A highly respected and forward-thinking commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Preconstruction Manager to support the estimating and preconstruction efforts for complex, high-profile projects across the region. What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the preparation of conceptual and detailed estimates for large-scale commercial projects

  • Collaborate closely with design teams, architects, and project managers to analyze drawings, specifications, and scope

  • Lead quantity takeoffs and subcontractor/vendor pricing

  • Support preconstruction presentations, value engineering, and feasibility studies

  • Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records

  • Help identify cost-saving solutions and recommend alternatives during early project planning

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–7 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating (commercial focus preferred)

  • Strong proficiency in estimating software (Destini, OST, Bluebeam, etc.)

  • Knowledge of various project delivery methods, including design-build

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
