Our client,a respected leader in wealth management and trust services,is seeking an AVP Senior Trust Operations Specialist to independently manage and oversee complex fiduciary operations. This role offers an opportunity to be a key subject matter expert driving operational excellence.
🔍 What You’ll Do:
- Independently evaluate and manage trust operational activities to ensure accurate,compliant,and timely processing of complex transactions like wires,ACH,deposits,disbursements,and asset transfers.
- Identify and mitigate risks by reviewing operational exceptions,enforcing regulatory compliance,and applying sound judgment in decision making.
- Oversee account documentation for openings,maintenance,and closures,implementing effective procedures.- Lead workflow management to meet service standards,managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Provide guidance,training,and mentorship to trust operations staff,elevating team performance.
- Collaborate closely with Trust Officers,Wealth Advisors,Compliance,and other key stakeholders to support business objectives and operational improvements.
✅ Required Experience & Skills:
- 5-7+ years progressively responsible experience in trust operations,fiduciary administration,or related financial services.
- Proven track record resolving complex operational challenges independently.
- Strong knowledge of trust accounting systems,fiduciary regulations,risk management,and operational controls.
- Excellent analytical,organizational,and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
🎓 Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business,Finance,Accounting,Trust Administration,or related field.
- Industry certifications such as CTOP or CSOP.
- Continuing education in trust administration,fiduciary services,compliance,or regulatory matters.
