General Liability Defense Attorney | Florida (Remote)

A well-established litigation firm is seeking a General Liability Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its growing Florida practice in a fully remote role. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who values flexibility, autonomy, and hands-on litigation experience while working with a collaborative and respected defense team.

The firm handles a broad range of insurance defense matters and is looking for a motivated litigator comfortable managing cases and maintaining strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Handle general liability defense matters from inception through resolution
• Defend cases involving auto liability, premises liability, bodily injury, and related insurance defense matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and client reporting materials
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
• Communicate regularly with carriers, insureds, experts, and opposing counsel
• Develop litigation strategy and manage deadlines effectively in a remote environment

What We’re Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
• 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Experience handling general liability, auto defense, and premises liability matters
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
• Organized, responsive, and comfortable working remotely
