Job Description

Gpac is paired with a local law firm seeking An experienced corporate/transactional attorney.

We are seeking an established and experienced attorney to join our practice. This is a unique opportunity to immediately step into a healthy existing book of business consisting of ongoing corporate and estate work.

We are flexible on the exact background but require an attorney who can handle complex matters in corporate, transactional, and estate planning.

🔑  Ideal Candidate Profile & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the firm's core practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a robust existing client base for ongoing corporate and transactional needs.
  • Draft, review, and execute complex estate planning documents and strategies.
  • Provide sound legal counsel and build strong, long-term relationships with firm clients.

 

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate, transactional, and estate planning law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload with high autonomy.
  • Genuine collaborative personality and deep buy-in to the firm’s supportive culture.
  • Commitment to an In-Office, Active Environment in Iowa (this is not a hybrid or remote position).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Tax and Probate experience is  a plus

 

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is competitive and highly flexible, depending on experience level and whether the attorney brings an existing book of business.

 

  • Financial Incentive: The firm offers a buy-in bonus pool and significant room for negotiation on compensation.
  • Structure: An Associate-level structure is available for those joining without an existing book of business.
  • Benefits: Health Insurance, Long-Term Disability (LTD), 401(k), and Paid Parking.
