QA/QC Manager – Industrial Tower Construction

We’re looking for a QA/QC Manager with strong experience in industrial tower construction to oversee quality assurance and control across fabrication, erection, and maintenance projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all work meets the highest standards for safety, compliance, and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and inspection protocols
• Conduct field inspections and audits during construction and repair phases
• Oversee welding, structural connections, coatings, and other tower-specific components
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal standards, and industry codes
• Maintain documentation for inspections, material certifications, and testing reports
• Train field personnel on quality standards and best practices • Work with project managers and superintendents to resolve issues and improve workflows
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and regulatory bodies as required
• Track non-conformance issues and lead corrective action efforts
• Support safety goals by ensuring QA/QC procedures align with site safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in steel or tower construction
• Familiarity with structural steel codes, NDE, welding inspections, and coating systems
• AWS or CWI certification preferred • Strong documentation and reporting skills
• High attention to detail and quality-first mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Willingness to travel to job sites across the U.S.
