gpac (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with our client to identify a Senior Trial Attorney / Senior Counsel to join a sophisticated litigation platform in Phoenix, Arizona.

This opportunity is geared toward experienced litigators with meaningful courtroom and trial experience who are seeking substantial autonomy, high-level litigation work, and long-term growth potential.

Position: Senior Trial Attorney / Senior Counsel

About the Role

The firm is seeking a senior-level litigator capable of independently managing complex litigation matters through trial. The ideal candidate has significant courtroom experience and enjoys taking ownership of high-exposure cases and client relationships.

This role is not limited to one practice area—the key focus is demonstrated trial ability and strong litigation judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead litigation matters from inception through trial and resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft and argue dispositive motions and complex legal briefs
• Develop litigation strategy and oversee active caseloads
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with litigation teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of litigation experience preferred
• Significant courtroom and trial experience required
• Ideally tried 5+ cases
• Strong background in:
• Depositions
• Motion practice
• Trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
• Excellent communication and client-management skills
• Arizona Bar admission required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $175,000 – $200,000 + customized bonus structure
