Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialty Sales Manager to lead sales and service efforts across the green industry in Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois. This role focuses exclusively on non-crop marketssupporting professionals in turf management, landscaping, aquatics, vegetation control, and municipal green spaces.

The ideal candidate is experienced in the turf & ornamental segment and thrives in a relationship-driven, field-based sales environment. You’ll work with a diverse client base—including golf courses, lawn care operators, sports turf managers, municipalities, and commercial vegetation applicators.

Location: Eastern Missouri & Southern Illinois (Territory-Based)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a territory focused on green industry clients (not production ag)

  • Promote and support specialty inputs such as herbicides, fungicides, fertilizers, and aquatic solutions for non-crop environments

  • Develop tailored sales strategies to meet the unique needs of turf, landscape, and vegetation control customers

  • Build strong relationships with end-users and dealers, providing product knowledge and technical support

  • Collaborate with internal teams and supplier reps to ensure top-tier customer service

  • Track territory activity, provide market intelligence, and identify growth opportunities

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in turf & ornamental, vegetation management, or landscape input sales

  • Working knowledge of specialty product use in golf, sports turf, municipal, or commercial landscaping applications

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage a multi-county territory

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the region

Compensation & Benefits:
