About the Firm

We are collaborating with a highly respected, forward-thinking law firm with a deep footprint in the Pacific Northwest. Known for its collaborative culture, exceptional staff support, and low-bureaucracy management, the firm provides an ideal platform for growth-minded attorneys. Whether you specialize in litigation, corporate transactions, real estate, or regulatory law, this platform is built to help you scale your practice while maintaining excellent work-life integration.

The Opportunity

Our client is actively seeking Lateral Partners across various practice areas to expand its Washington State presence. This position is designed for an entrepreneurial partner—or a senior counsel/income partner ready to make the leap—who possesses an established, portable book of business.

The firm offers a highly transparent, lucrative compensation structure that directly rewards your originations, alongside a realistic and structured path to equity.

Key Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an active, good-standing license to practice law in Washington State.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of legal experience, with a proven track record of client development and retention.
  • A portable book of business of at least $350,000 (verifiable history of originations and collections).
  • Open to various practice areas, with particular interest in: Commercial Litigation, Real Estate & Land Use, Healthcare Law, Labor & Employment, or Corporate/Transactional Law.
  • Strong leadership skills and a desire to mentor associates and contribute to firm culture.

What the Firm Offers You

  • Lucrative Compensation & Splits: A highly competitive base salary paired with one of the most transparent and generous origination bonus structures in the region.
  • Rate Flexibility: Lower overhead means flexible billing structures, allowing you to retain and grow clients who might be priced out of larger Am Law platforms.
  • Robust Operational Support: Dedicated paralegal assistance, administrative backup, and cutting-edge tech so you can focus on practicing law and building relationships.
  • True Collaborative Culture: A strict "no-jerks" policy where partners cross-sell services and genuinely support each other’s client bases.

Recruitment Tips for This Posting:

  • Practice Area Flexibility: By keeping the practice areas broad but highlighting a few key sectors (like Real Estate, Healthcare, or Litigation), you capture a wider net of qualified candidates without cluttering the ad.
  • The Confidentiality Angle: Partners are incredibly protective of their moves. Emphasizing "absolute strictest confidentiality" right at the bottom reduces the friction for them to hit reply or send a quick message.

Please send your confidential resume to Sierra Darrah at sierra.darrah@gogpac.com or call/text 605-605-1152 to discuss this in more detail.
