Remote Civil Litigation Attorney – Defense
A well-established national law firm is actively seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy, while still fostering a highly collaborative, professional environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil litigation defense and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services.
We are looking for someone who not only has the technical skills but also shares the firm’s core values of integrity, client service, and teamwork. You’ll be working alongside experienced litigators on a variety of complex matters and will be supported in your continued professional growth.
Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients
Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through effective communication and service
Stay current with procedural rules and case law relevant to assigned matters
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law (in good standing) in California
Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a focus on defense-side matters
Experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, law and motion, and trial preparation
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset
Comfortable using case management software and working in a paperless environment
