Manufacturing Engineer

Well-established manufacturer looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team! The ideal candidate will be able to use their skills and knowledge to support engineering and production teams. The Manufacturing Engineer will strive to improve efficiency, quality, and safety striving to make continuous improvements and optimize the use of company resources. 

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Development of engineering SOP’s using manufacturing engineering best practices
  • Participate in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviews
  • Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and other documents
  • Design and procure tools/equipment
  • Identify, evaluate, and solve production problems
  • Lead training of team members to improve and introduce new processes
  • Prepare/manufacture prototypes as required utilizing the principals of concurrent engineering

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Excellent time management, problem prevention and solving skills
  • MRP Systems experience preferred
