About the Role
The Firm Administrator will lead the administrative and operational functions of the firm, working closely with the Partners and department heads. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting our people and systems, and helping us scale effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily operations of the firm and ensure efficient workflows across departments

  • Manage and support HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance reviews, and benefits administration

  • Lead billing, invoicing, and timekeeping processes in coordination with the finance team

  • Partner with technology vendors and internal teams to ensure systems are current, secure, and support productivity

  • Develop and implement firm policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Support Partner group with scheduling, internal communications, and project tracking

  • Contribute to firm culture through planning team events, supporting employee engagement, and fostering a positive workplace


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of administrative and operational leadership experience, preferably in a CPA firm, law firm, or consulting firm

  • Strong understanding of professional services operations, including HR, billing, and IT coordination

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Proficient with business software and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, accounting/billing platforms, HRIS systems)

  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset

  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
