gpac is working with a client company who is a long standing and reputable 3PL and Freight Forwarder seeking a Branch Manager for their facility in Northern New Jersey. This 3PL organization, priding themselves on their robust end-to-end solutions they offer to their clients, as well as their reputation for excellence in the market! Solid in the industry, with consistent year over year growth, looking for a leader to grow with the company!

Focused on international and domestic freight forwarding with emphasis on ocean freight, as well as air and project cargo. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospecting new business
• Overseeing staff activities and customer requests
• Partner with the marketing and operations teams for optimal customer satisfaction
• Present a streamlined technology solution developing a detailed analysis of customized needs in challenging areas
• Traveling to meet with key clients, on a regular basis

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• 5-7 years of experience, specifically, in international freight forwarding, with focus on ocean and air
• High energy, with a passion for maintaining/retaining relationships with outside clients and vendors
• Self-starter with strong organization & presentation skills
