The Accounting Clerk will support daily financial processing in a construction environment where multiple projects are active at once. If you enjoy reconciling details, organizing documentation, and keeping systems tight, this could be a strong long-term fit.
This role is perfect for someone who wants exposure to construction accounting without needing a full accounting degree.
Posting and coding invoices into the accounting system
Tracking and verifying job-related expenses
Assisting with vendor payment processing and follow-ups
Reviewing time entries for payroll support
Reconciling credit card activity and expense reports
Maintaining organized digital job cost records
Supporting month-end close preparation
Assisting leadership with reporting accuracy
The right Accounting Clerk understands that precision in the small details protects margins on large projects.
2+ years in accounting support, bookkeeping, or AP
Comfort working in QuickBooks and Excel
High attention to detail (accuracy matters here)
Ability to manage repetitive tasks without losing focus
Professional communication when interacting with vendors and project teams
Construction or job-cost experience is a bonus — but not required.
