Position Overview: We are seeking a driven, sharp, and trial-ready Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with 3 to 6 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong litigation instincts, and is eager to take meaningful ownership of high-value cases from inception through trial. This is a fully in-office role designed for an attorney who values daily collaboration, mentorship from top-tier legal minds, and a robust trial culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of high-value plaintiff personal injury matters, ensuring exceptional representation and strategic movement of files.
- Conduct comprehensive litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings, substantive motions, and trial briefs.
- Propound and respond to complex discovery; conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, experts, and treating physicians.
- Regularly appear in court for hearings, status conferences, and arguments.
- Actively participate in trial preparation and serve as a critical second-chair (or first-chair, depending on experience) at trial.
- Collaborate daily with a highly skilled team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff in a dynamic office environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–6 years of dedicated personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff side preferred, but strong defense candidates looking to transition are welcome to apply).
- Licensure: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
- Trial Ready: A genuine passion for litigation and a strong desire or willingness to regularly go to trial.
- Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to independently handle depositions and argue motions.
- Presence: Professional demeanor comfortable navigating high-stakes cases and interacting with high-profile clients and co-counsel.
- Work Structure: Ability and willingness to work 100% in-office (Monday through Friday) at the firm’s Los Angeles/Beverly Hills location.
