Welder/Fitter
We’re looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team! The ideal candidate is experienced in hardwire and flux core welding, blueprint reading, and fitting work. If you’re safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and flux core welding using various wire types (e.g., .035, .045, .052, 1/16, 3/32)
Weld on various material thicknesses and complete multi-pass and large fillet welds
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols with accuracy
Use weld gauges and measuring tools to ensure precision
Perform stainless steel welding as needed
Fit components using open table or fixture methods
Utilize heat straightening and common fitter tools
Identify tolerances and projections (1st and 3rd angle) on technical drawings
Work safely in confined spaces and at heights when required
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Intermediate to expert welding skills with hardwire and flux core
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and weld symbols
Experience with stainless steel welding
Ability to add/subtract fractions and decimals
Familiarity with heat straightening techniques
No fear of heights or confined spaces
