Job Description

A well-established corporate and real estate law firm in Nashville is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Probate Paralegal to join their team. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Probate Cases:
    Oversee estate administration from initial filing through final distribution, including court filings and deadline tracking.

  • Draft Legal Documents:
    Prepare wills, trusts, petitions, accountings, and related probate documents with high accuracy and attention to legal detail.

  • Client & Court Interaction:
    Communicate directly with clients, courts, and financial institutions to gather documentation and coordinate case progress.

  • Litigation & Trial Support:
    Assist attorneys with probate litigation, including discovery, research, and preparation for hearings or mediations.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in probate, estate planning, and/or probate litigation.

  • Legal Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of Tennessee probate laws, court procedures, and estate administration processes.

  • Professionalism & Communication:
    Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

 

Work Environment

  • Onsite position based in our Nashville office
