Are you a tax pro who loves digging into the details—but not into client meetings? We’re a tight-knit, high-performing tax firm of 15 people looking for a sharp Tax Reviewer who can handle 400+ individual returns (1040s) and thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and independent work. This is a full-time, in-office position that will have steady work with hours around 50-55 in tax season.
What You’ll Do:
Review and clean up individual tax returns (1040s), many with farms, rental properties, and small businesses
Ensure accuracy and compliance—spot errors, suggest fixes, and communicate with the preparer
Prioritize high volume of returns and communicate with team and clients on questions
Support a smooth workflow during tax season and help set the standard for quality review work
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience reviewing 1040s with complex situations (Schedule C, E, F, etc.)
Ability to handle a high volume of returns with confidence and precision
CPA or EA preferred (but not required if you have the skills and experience)
A sharp eye, good judgment, and commitment to top-notch work
The Perks:
$75,000 – $95,000 salary (based on experience)
