Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee crews on a variety of excavation, earthwork, and underground utility projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of field supervision experience managing crews on projects involving earthwork, grading, stormwater systems, sanitary and water utilities, and general site development.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate field crews on excavation, earthwork, and underground utility projects
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Manage schedules, resources, and equipment to meet project milestones
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve field issues
Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation
Enforce safety protocols and ensure all crew members follow OSHA and company safety standards
Mentor and provide guidance to crew leads and field staff
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a superintendent or field supervisor in excavation, earthwork, and underground utility projects
Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, grading, and utility installation
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
