POSITION OVERVIEW: LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

Location: Spokane, WA

Experience: 1–6 Years

Compensation: $130,000 – $200,000 DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Full Benefits

A premier, highly rated litigation-oriented law firm in Spokane, WA, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney. KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 1 to 6 years of civil litigation experience within a law firm setting.
  • Credentials: Strong law school academic credentials; active WA bar license (or immediate eligibility).
  • Practice Areas: Prior experience in construction or employment law is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong legal research, brief writing, oral advocacy, and analytical reasoning.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution or trial.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Conduct extensive statutory and case-law research.
  • Participate in depositions, court hearings, and trial preparation alongside senior partners.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $130,000 to $200,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
  • Bonuses: Eligibility for a merit-based discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits: Premium medical/dental, 401(k) plan with employer contributions, and fully covered employee parking.
