Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join a global industrial machinery manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for managing daily cash flow operations, supporting treasury internal controls, preparing financial projections, and assisting with ERP/SAP treasury system enhancements. The Treasury Analyst will work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate liquidity management, reporting, and compliance with company policies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while gaining exposure to treasury operations, cash forecasting, and financial systems optimization. Candidates may be based in either Detroit, MI or Toledo, OH.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Cash Flow & Treasury Operations

  • Monitor and manage daily cash flow activities to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to support strategic financial planning.
  • Analyze cash positions and provide variance reporting for management review.
  • Support banking and treasury activities related to operational funding requirements.

Treasury Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain and enhance treasury internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with treasury documentation, audit preparation, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure treasury procedures are consistently followed and updated as needed.

ERP/SAP Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support ERP/SAP treasury module enhancements, testing, and implementation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Operations teams to improve treasury data integration and reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Prepare treasury-related management reports including cash forecasts, liquidity reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Work closely with Operations and Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic finance and treasury initiatives.

Requirements Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow management and treasury operations.
  • Experience working with ERP/financial systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or closely related preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 – $70,000
