Commercial Title Closer - Remote

A leading Commercial Real Estate Company is looking for a Title Closer to join their talented team. Recognized in the real estate and title community for over 20 years offering comprehensive title services in all 50 states. These include title searches, policy writing, transaction management, and providing escrow and closing services. This firm successfully manages 10,000 transactions annually, handling both complex high-end commercial and standard residential deals.

The ideal Title Closer will possess strong National Commercial Title experience, 5+ years in real estate paralegal/title work, and a detail-oriented work ethic.

Remote position – with the exception of periodic mandatory office visits for company meetings or other important company events.   

Key Responsibilities

  • The Title Closer will act as the primary point of contact for Real Estate Investors, Developers, Attorneys, and Banks.
  • Prepare completed files for disbursement.
  • Prepare proformas.
  • Prepare Settlement Statements in accordance with Lender Closing Instructions.
  • Conduct Closings and handle support prior to and during settlement process.
  • Review of clearance documents including title commitment and information collected by Clearance Offices to make sure to make sure all requirements have been cleared and meet underwriter requirements.
  • Use knowledge and expertise to resolve title commitment requirements that the clearance team is not authorized to handle.
  • Maintain system to ensure milestones are met in accordance with company policy.
  • Address all client requests and parties associated with the transaction in a timely manner.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of National Title Experience - Required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate title closing procedures and legality in a variety of regions throughout the United States.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Real Estate License and Notary preferred.
  • Paralegal Certification is a plus!
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
