Job Description

I am currently representing a outstanding engineering firm seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their growing MEP team. This individual will play a key role in the design and coordination of mechanical systems across a wide range of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required

  • Experience in MEP consulting or building systems design

  • Strong communication, coordination, and organization skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical system design including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects

  • Prepare mechanical engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications

  • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy evaluations

  • Conduct field assessments, site visits, and documentation of existing mechanical systems

  • Coordinate with internal design disciplines along with architects, contractors, and clients

  • Assist with reports, studies, and technical documentation

  • Review submittals, shop drawings, and contractor RFIs

  • Mentor junior engineers and designers as needed

  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus
