Job Title: Audiologist

Location: Lake Placid, NY (relocation assistance provided)

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patients’ quality of life through comprehensive hearing and balance care. You’ll work in a collaborative, supportive environment with a strong emphasis on personalized treatment plans and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and manage hearing and balance disorders.
  • Recommend and fit hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, ensuring proper programming and follow-up care.
  • Perform vestibular assessments and provide balance disorder interventions.
  • Counsel patients and their families on treatment options and hearing health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Stay updated with advancements in audiology practices and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology.
  • Current license to practice audiology in New York State.
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with audiological equipment and hearing aid programming software.
  • Passion for community engagement and promoting hearing health.
