My client is a boutique architecture firm specializing in high-rise multifamily and mixed-use projects in New York City. Their team is passionate about creating innovative and context-sensitive designs that shape the city’s skyline and streetscape.

Job Description: As Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading projects and managing teams while ensuring the highest level of design quality and efficiency. You will work closely with firm leadership, oversee project delivery, and contribute to business development efforts.

Location: Brooklyn - on site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of high-rise multifamily and mixed-use projects from concept to completion.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level team members to foster professional growth.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to achieve project goals.
  • Participate in business development, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and zoning regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect (preferred) with 10+ years of experience in architecture.
  • Proven expertise in high-rise multifamily and mixed-use projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Deep knowledge of NYC codes, zoning, and permitting processes.
