Our client is a boutique law firm specializing in trust and estate planning and litigation. The firm is known for providing personalized, high-quality legal services to our clients, helping them navigate complex estate matters with expertise and care.

Position Overview:
Seeking an ambitious Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in trust and estate planning and litigation to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in estate law and a passion for helping clients protect their assets and legacy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Assist in trust and estate administration
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex estate and trust issues
- Participate in estate and trust litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and motions
- Attend client meetings, court hearings, and depositions
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution
- Stay current with changes in estate and trust laws

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in New York
- Minimum 2 years of experience in trust and estate planning and/or litigation
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in probate court proceedings
- Familiarity with tax implications of estate planning
- Background in elder law or special needs planning
